Collaborative Support Programs of NJ is a mental health nonprofit agency seeking seasonal Team Leads for their 24/7 program. The Team Lead assists the Mentors and guests, providing quality services and maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the center, ensuring a safe environment for unsheltered individuals during the summer heat.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and make them feel welcome and comfortable

Be a positive role model, through professional behavior and communication

Assists Mentors in prioritization of work assignments and team service planning as directed by supervisor

Provide a safe and healthy environment through education, guidance, and personal interaction

Responsible for guest safety, proving crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed

Must adhere to staffing schedules to provide adequate and safe staffing coverage to accomplish program objectives

Required

High School diploma / GED and 2+ years working at a nonprofit OR

Bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline

Must be proficient in MS Office products, as well as general computer literacy

Must have a valid NJ Driver's License with acceptable driving record

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage crises

Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills

Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner

Preferred

Bilingual skills are a plus!
