Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of infrastructure projects, including: municipal roadways, trails, and drainage improvements
This position requires strong design experience and prefers project management experience and knowledge of working with local entities
Manage design and plan production
Manage clients and supervise technical staff
Provide training/mentorship of other engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Texas or transferrable within 2 months
At least 5 to 10 years of experience in local infrastructure/public works, municipal roadway, drainage, and pedestrian facility design projects
Experience managing design and plan production
Ability to manage clients and supervise technical staff
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong ability to work in a team environment including multiple disciplines
A positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and success
Preferred
Strong experience working with AutoCAD Civil3D
Previous experience working with public sector clients and business development communications
Experience in project scope development, professional services fee development and staffing projects
