Responsibilities
Assist patients with physical therapy needs
Provides services within scope of practice and in accordance with plan of care
Observe/report patient's response to treatment along with any changes in his/her condition to PT or RN
Prepare clinical and/or progress notes for each visit
Guide patient in use of therapeutic, creative and self-care activity for the purpose of improving function
Qualification
Required
Current Louisiana PTA license required
CPR certification
1 year experience as a licensed PTA required
Excellent customer service and time management skills
Reliable transportation to visit patients
Preferred
Home Health experience preferred
