Responsibilities

Conduct "business to business" sales calls on manufacturing and food processing facilities throughout the region for parts, service and service agreements

This is an introductory role into the compressor industry focusing on the Mechanical contracting business

Provide customer service, sales, & technical support to sales force and customers

Promote and encourage "Profit Management" to ensure a profitable future for the company

Understand & implement policy to achieve both customer & company goals

Work closely with sales, fabrication & vendors to facilitate the sales effort & meet customer requirements

Evaluate customer bid requirements, specifications, and other pertinent data

Prepare proposals using vendor software, sales catalogs and cost estimates according to technical and performance requirements

Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems

Notify inside and outside staff of new products & processes as needed

Facilitate prompt remedy of customer technical problems, complaints & failures

Maintain organization of order files, monitor in-house orders & assist sales & fabrication with project related questions

Required

Applicants must have 1+ years' experience with air compressor service or sales or other sales - automotive, heavy equipment, rental yard, industrial supplies, etc

Must be able to work independently to achieve targeted results

Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills

Effective negotiating skills

Project management experience and team work skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
