Responsibilities
Lead independent projects on studying the molecular and cellular mechanisms of skin senescence in human models
Study the association between cutting-edge biomarkers of skin aging and 3D bioprinting skin tissues
Conduct analyses related to tissue engineering and 3D skin models
Engage in research involving histopathology techniques and immunostaining
Develop 3D skin equivalents, explants, or other in vitro skin models for research
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in tissue bioprinting and/or tissue engineering required
Tissue bioprinting and tissue engineering
Histopathology techniques and immunostaining
Conducting analyses
3D skin equivalents, explants, or other in vitro skin models for research
The biology of aging and/or aging-related conditions
Excellent manuscript writing and communication skills
Knowledge of either clinical-based research or laboratory-based research often obtained from a postdoctoral program
Demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications
Proof of English proficiency is required for J-1 Short-Term Scholars, Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic
