They are seeking a Sterile Compounding Technician who will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing customized medications, ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of sterile medication products for patients.

Responsibilities

Prepares sterile medications and solutions following established procedures and standards

Responsible for accurately measuring and weighing ingredients, following strict protocols, and maintaining a clean and sterile work area

Operates and maintains compounding equipment, such as laminar airflow hoods and biological safety cabinets

Uses sterile techniques to ensure the integrity and safety of compounded products

Cleans and maintains compounding areas and equipment to meet strict regulatory requirements

Works closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to compound and dispense medications in a sterile environment

Maintains accurate documentation of compounded medications and associated records

Performs other related duties as required and assigned
