Responsibilities
Conduct patentability assessments and provide strategic advice to clients regarding their inventions
Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications before the relevant patent offices
Represent clients in opposition and appeal proceedings related to patent applications
Advise clients on intellectual property matters, including licensing, enforcement, and infringement
Perform due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and investments
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Strong background in patent law and intellectual property rights
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
