This role offers the opportunity to lead in a state-of-the-art Diagnostic Imaging department while ensuring exceptional quality and patient experience through hands-on involvement and mentorship of staff.

Responsibilities
Serve as the technical lead and resource for all ultrasound staff, ensuring workflow adherence, high-quality imaging, and patient-centered care
Maintain quality control programs, oversee equipment performance, and act as the liaison with vendors and Biomed services
Evaluate staff competencies, identify training needs, and ensure ongoing professional development
Support department leadership in hiring, scheduling, performance feedback, and employee engagement
Optimize exam scheduling, manage resources, and monitor productivity to meet department goals
Collaborate with radiologists to update and implement protocols
Facilitate clinical problem-solving and serve as a role model for students and staff
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee modality records
Qualification
Required
Current registry in ultrasound with at least 2 years of modality-specific experience
Montana licensure (or ability to obtain) where applicable
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, train, and evaluate staff
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
