Product Marketing Director, Payments

The Product Marketing Director for Payments will define and execute go-to-market strategies for Fireblocks' payments infrastructure, focusing on positioning the company as a leader in blockchain-based payment solutions.

Responsibilities
Own the Payments Vertical: Develop deep expertise in payment service providers, remittance platforms, cross-border payments, and stablecoin infrastructure as your primary focus areas
Drive Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and execute precision GTM strategies for payments solutions, driving pipeline growth, adoption, and revenue within PSPs, payment networks, and remittance companies
Become an Expert: Maintain competitive and market trend expertise in blockchain-based payments, stablecoin infrastructure, cross-border settlement, and traditional payment rails. Work closely with the competitive and research team, maintain an always-learning mentality, and attend payments-industry events as needed and desired
Craft Messaging & Positioning: Develop clear, compelling, and competitive value propositions that speak to payment companies, PSPs, and financial institutions transforming how money moves globally
Enable Sales on Complex Payment Use Cases: Develop sales enablement content that helps teams articulate Fireblocks' value for instant settlement, multi-currency treasury management, and regulatory compliance
Partner with Payments Ecosystem: Build relationships with stablecoin issuers, payment networks, and regulatory bodies to inform product strategy and market positioning
Qualification
Required
8-10+ years of Product Marketing experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure
Payments Expertise: Deep understanding of payment rails, cross-border payments, settlement systems, remittance flows, or payment network dynamics
Industry Storytelling: Exceptional ability to simplify and elevate messaging for complex platforms within a highly dynamic ecosystem
Proven track record creating compelling narratives around infrastructure and network effects
Market Knowledge: Experience and interest in cryptocurrency, digital assets, stablecoins, and the blockchains powering global financial transformation
Strategic & Tactical Agility: Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving results through innovative strategies and flawless execution
Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to align Product, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver GTM excellence
Experience influencing product roadmap based on market insights and competitive intelligence
Content Development: Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills to support marketing and enablement initiatives
Portfolio of work samples (solution briefs, positioning docs, launch materials) required
Analytical Mindset: Ability to define success metrics and translate data into actionable insights
Experience measuring PMM impact on pipeline, win rates, and sales velocity
Preferred
Experience marketing to PSPs, payment platforms, or financial institutions preferred
Global Perspective: Understanding of regional payment nuances, regulatory requirements, and go-to-market strategies across markets preferred
