Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Facilitator to run weekly group sessions focused on promoting healthy lifestyles and positive behaviors among youth. The role involves developing content for interventions, facilitating classes, and collaborating with the program team to support participants.

Responsibilities

With the Director, Advocates, and other staff as appropriate to ensure that the needs of the program participants are addressed

Based on the selected curriculum, develop content and activities for group intervention

Facilitate weekly group classes following the schedule established for the program

Work with the program team to develop and implement a system of incentives and rewards for program participant

Administer pre and posttest to program participants and work together with the program team to evaluate results

Required

Knowledge of community resources, local employment opportunities, and college or training programs in New Jersey

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills required

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage required

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Experience preferred that is related to selected instructional topics

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
