UF Health is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist who is credentialled to perform various imaging procedures. The role involves providing patient-centered care while maintaining competency in multiple modalities and supporting additional imaging services as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures

Support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality

Provide on call coverage for these modalities

Strive to provide patient centered care

Uphold the standard of practice of a registered technologist

Qualification

Radiologic procedures knowledgeBLS CertificationCredentialed in Radiology modalitiesImaging equipment familiarityComputer software troubleshootingPatient communicationPatient care equipment knowledgeClinical Radiology experience

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline

Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices

Communicates exams/procedures to patients

Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot

Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment

Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities

BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS

1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience

Preferred

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
