Responsibilities

Responsible for running MIPS orders and translating it into a production schedule ensuring most optimal changeover frequencies to meet truck schedules
Responsible for formula and process standards validation by ensuring that all systems and posted standards, documentation match between Doran Scales, Mixer bulk recipes, Oracle, MIPS and WinSCP
Ensures WinSCP is up to date with products, attributes and data collection frequencies. Pulls reports and shares with supervisors and bakery management to understand performance and drive compliance
Creates associates and supervisors work schedules and makes timely adjustments to ensure full coverage, including holidays
Participates in and leads Manufacturing Transformation activities as needed like Root Cause Problem Solving, Gemba walks, huddle meetings, Leader Standard Work. Using Gemba walks, conducts routine safety and sanitation inspections to promote associate safety and good housekeeping and overall effectiveness of established procedures

Required

High school diploma or GED
2-5 years of experience in production, preferably in the food industry or Manufacturing experience
Working knowledge of computers, including MS office applications, internal systems like WINSPC, MIPS, KRONOS knowledge a plus
Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate and train associates within a team-oriented environment
Must be self-directed and able to work without close supervision - position requires high energy and motivation and a strong desire to drive positive change
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and team building skills
Excellent communication skills

Preferred

Associates Degree in Business or in another related field
AIB certification
