The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the medical field, particularly in the treatment of prostate cancer.

Responsibilities

Maintains a Strategic Plan:
Be knowledgeable of the brand, the company and market
Maintain thorough knowledge of technical/product data, disease state, clinical information, and product data within the diagnostic arena
Grow and develop new and relevant relationships
Apply knowledge and understanding of our products, programs, and services to meet customer needs
Continuously learn relevant information regarding each channel of business and share critical information with team members and directors
Effectively communicate and make in-roads with practice and corporate c-suites and key physicians
Assist the team in establishing a regional data reporting process
Partner with other departments (i.e. Medical, Field and Reimbursement) to establish educational speaker events, congresses, and appropriate field interaction
Acquires knowledge of current healthcare environment and its impact on company business
Build long term relationships with key accounts through honest and ethical behavior consistent with the company values
Maintains basic heath economic data relative to the company
Develop processes that enable greater patient identification, and access to the product line
Identify, through field intelligence and relationships, potential industry partners that share Blue Earth’s mission to achieve appropriate care for the appropriate patient
Develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans specific to external, industry partnerships
Drive strategic exchange, internally and externally, and execute strategic Initiatives:
Provide guidance on established process ensuring customers can properly, and effectively utilize company products
Develop strategies and tactics to effectively communicate complex analytical information
Consistently collects critical competitive intelligence/clinical insights through one-on-ones, group discussions and attendance at meetings and determines the impact on Blue Earth's strategy and communicates this information to internal stakeholders
Identify opportunities to partner beyond our established relationships
Support company initiatives, such as physician round table discussions, patient navigator summits and advanced cancer clinic development programs
Supports Operations/Policy and Internal Partners:
Provide technical support and training to field commercial and account teams
To maintain working knowledge of the company’s products, providing guidance and information on products and their use through enhanced process development
To research and provide full answers to technical enquiries, liaising with internal experts as required
Work with cross-functional teams as agreed upon with your manager to support brand objectives
Communicate regularly with the cross-functional (sales, marketing, reimbursement, medical) teams you support
Adhere to and manage travel and local expenses to meet Blue Earth policy while being compliant with all company policy
Develop and effectively manage a call plan, call reporting process, and proper use of CRM
Effectively manages administrative activities

Required

Associate's or bachelor's degree or completion of a certificate program
Knowledge of FDA requirements and PhRMA Code
Ability to integrate and work in cross functional network
Demonstrated project management ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel 50%-70% (approx.10-12 overnights per month)
Valid driver's license
Excellent oral & written communication skills. Ability to influence and build relationships/earn credibility quickly across broad global constituencies with competing priorities
Strong coaching, facilitation, and organizational skills; team player. Experience and skills with cross-functional and highly matrixed organizations

Preferred

At least 5 years of industry experience preferred
