Responsibilities

Managing the life cycle of environmental permitting projects
Leading proposal scope and cost development
Managing project budgets, schedules, and risk
Client and regulatory agency coordination
Leading technical delivery and providing senior review of client deliverables
Providing permitting strategies and guidance to clients and internal teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or similar environmental discipline
A minimum of 10 years total experience in the environmental consulting industry. Associated experience with environmental agencies and departmental roles with commercial entities may be considered equivalent
At least 4 years of experience managing environmental permitting projects, technical teams, schedules/budgets, and the delivery of high-quality work products
Demonstrated experience leading teams and working in collaboration with biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, and other specialists in developing high quality documents for environmental projects
At least 4 years of experience leading project pursuits, including direct client communication and preparation of project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates
Demonstrated experience coordinating with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies in the Western U.S. related to power and energy projects
Experience working with the USFS, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, BLM, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and state agencies
Demonstrated FERC experience, including Blanket Prior Notice and Section 7 applications, and the preparation of Environmental Reports

Preferred

Master's degree in planning, Geography, Environmental Management, or related field
Experience supporting and/or managing client development including identifying opportunities, developing, and maintaining client relationships
FERC and local permitting experience working in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and/or Nevada
