The University of Missouri-Kansas City is continuously seeking qualified candidates for part-time adjunct faculty teaching positions in World Languages and Cultures. The role primarily involves delivering undergraduate elementary and intermediate level courses in languages such as French, German, and Spanish.

Responsibilities
Deliver primarily undergraduate elementary and intermediate level courses in French, German, and Spanish
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and native or near-native fluency in the foreign language required
Preferred
Master's Degree or equivalent advanced degree in the foreign language or appropriate related field, or completed at least one year of a graduate program in the target language
Some college-level teaching experience (at least one semester of teaching)
Taught a full class in the target language at the high-school level or at an organization
Evidence of teaching excellence
Engaged in at least two teaching development activities, such as interning in a high school language program, shadowing a high school teacher or university professor for a semester, served as a teaching assistant, have taken a pedagogy course, or trained by a language coordinator
Completed a year-long study abroad program
Completed two or more conference presentations or publications (including trade, journalistic, or literacy) in or on the target language
