The role involves providing technical assistance to projects related to chemical measurements in nuclear processing environments and entails collaboration with scientists and engineers in the field.

Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to projects that support the on-line monitoring missions of SRNL
Maintaining and growing lab and DOE Complex capability for chemical measurements in nuclear processing environments
Collaborate with actinide scientists and engineers at SRNL, other national laboratories, and at SRS processing facilities
Application of process analytical chemistry to issues of national security and nuclear nonproliferation
Collaborate with SRNL colleagues in other areas as subject matter experts in spectroscopy and other analytical techniques
Actively publish and present their research to scientific audiences
Qualification
Required
Doctorate Degree
Experience in process analytical chemistry
Ability to collaborate with actinide scientists and engineers
Experience in spectroscopy and other analytical techniques
Ability to publish and present research to scientific audiences
