Responsibilities
Testing PC platform and sub-systems, triaging, filing bugs
Taking ownership of bugs and following them to closure
Enabling new features on Platform and OS
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in PC Platform and mother board architecture
Experience with computer peripherals and motherboard components (PCIe, USB, USB-C, TBT, SATA, PCH, ICH, BIOS, UEFI, RAM, CPU, GPU)
Knowledge of different power states of system and devices (ACPI – S-states, C-states, D-states)
Experience with driver and firmware deployment on a system
Familiarity with subsystems like Multimedia, communications, sensors, etc
Experience with Windows OS and its features
Ability to triage Platform/ingredient/OS issues
Understanding of the bug life cycle and experience with any bug management tool like Jira, HSD, VSO, etc
Ability to lift 25 to 40 lbs of weight
