The role involves driving efficiencies and reducing transportation costs while overseeing rail operational performance for hazardous waste and oil product transportation.

Responsibilities

Manage the Rail Logistics Operations companywide
Utilizing rail applications, the rail logistics team, and rail experience to drive efficiencies and reduce transportation costs
Responsible for all rail operational performance for both Clean Harbors and Safety-Kleen transporting large volumes of hazardous waste and various oil products
Drive efficiencies within our network to optimize transportation costs by utilizing barge, ocean freight and other logistics options

Required

Experience in managing rail logistics operations

Ability to work with a diverse customer base including Fortune 500 companies
Experience in environmental and industrial services
