Responsibilities
Architect, design, and maintain scalable Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI to enable rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery
Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or Amazon ECS
Deploy and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to ensure system health, performance, and rapid issue resolution
Enforce and enhance security best practices across CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure environments
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to streamline the software development lifecycle
Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, estimation, and prioritization of DevOps initiatives
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering growth in DevOps skills, tools, and methodologies
Design and implement cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP services
Perform light network administration duties to maintain test environments and coordinate with primary network administrators
Qualification
Required
Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and CI Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred) OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
8+ years of professional experience in DevOps or software development, with substantial experience designing and implementing DevOps solutions
Expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Proficiency in CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Atlassian Bamboo)
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Amazon ECS)
Skilled in monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog)
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Scripting and development experience with Python (pipenv, pex, or similar packaging tools)
Scripting and development experience with C/C++ (cmake, Makefiles, debugging)
Scripting and development experience with PostgreSQL or similar database development experience
Scripting and development experience with Shell scripting
Scripting and development experience with Git for version control
Ability to implement secure, compliant DevOps processes
Experience participating in Agile teams and ceremonies
Preferred
Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks
Knowledge of additional DevOps tools such as Packer or Terraform Cloud
Familiarity with hybrid cloud/on-premises integration
