CT Scan Technologist- Per Diem (PD)
UMass Memorial Medical Center is a premier health system in Central Massachusetts, dedicated to exceptional patient care and academic excellence. The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for scanning and producing computerized tomography examinations for physician interpretation and diagnosis of injury and/or disease, while ensuring optimal patient safety and customer service.

Responsibilities
Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols
Assists the Radiologist with all diagnostic and interventional procedures
Delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines set forth by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service
Performs related clerical and service duties and assists with other departments as needed
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited radiological program
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT
Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to produce optimum results
Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families
