Program Manager - Aviation
Hill International is a global leader in program and construction management, seeking a Program Manager - Aviation in Florida. The role involves overseeing program requirements, managing project execution, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards while collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Establish the program requirements for all areas of the program and monitor the draft and final deliverables for adherence to owner’s requirement
Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of all assigned personnel on the project
Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the owner and key subcontractors
Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project
May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of program owner
Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required
Assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths
Collaborate and interface with the owner and project stakeholders
Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and plan for the various elements including staffing of the project
Ensure that the project meets or exceeds goals established in collaboration with owner
Promote technical excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes
Monitor and report to the owner and management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions that would affect project cost or schedule
Establish weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, architectural engineering or construction management, or requisite experience and/or degrees in aviation-related study
Minimum 20 years of program and construction management experience in aviation facility projects for state, local, federal and/or commercial owners, specifically in key role with both technical and management responsibilities
Proven track record successfully managing and delivering major aviation programs in excess of $1B dollars
Proven leadership in managing large-scale, complex, landside, and terminal projects
Possess extensive experience in airport and airline operations, industry relationships and comprehend the regulatory, construction, and operational airport environment
Familiarity with airport transit systems, transportation centers and garages, and roadway development
Significant proposal development experience, expressed through written documentation and technical communication skills
Experience with facilities in South Florida
