Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with a team of talented developers, engineers, and product owners to provide consumers and business stakeholders with exceptional application experiences
Design and architect scalable, resilient, and maintainable software systems that meet the evolving needs of the insurance industry
Leverage AI and machine learning techniques to develop intelligent solutions for tasks such as risk assessment, fraud detection, and customer service
Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, utilizing cloud-based services and best practices
Integrate Twilio's communication APIs into our platform to enable seamless customer interactions
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the software development landscape
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience in software development
Demonstrated success in a senior developer role within a team environment, displaying the ability to build web applications from scratch and drive them to successful deployment
Strong foresight and the ability to anticipate potential threats that may compromise code durability, taking proactive and preventative measures to ensure robustness
A commitment to excellence in every aspect of your work, from process refinement to delivering outstanding support and results
A deep curiosity for technology, always seeking to learn and explore new tools and techniques that align with business goals
Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask)
Use of SQL and NoSQL-backed applications. (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and their application to software development
Experience with complex multi-threaded distributed systems and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in the insurance industry or a related field
Familiarity with Twilio's communication APIs and their integration with software systems
