As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for building and integrating new experiences for customers while optimizing the performance and reliability of Lightspark's infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Designing, building, scaling, securing and maintaining production services

Writing or improving code frameworks (e.g. monitoring, logging, database access, authentication)

Desire to learn and grow in a highly collaborative environment

Building and optimizing core infrastructure to support new features and functionality

Joining the oncall rotation, supporting the Software Engineers, and debugging the hardest problems

Required

10+ years of Production / Site Reliability / DevOps Engineering

Experience writing high quality and well tested code

Experience communicating and collaborating across technical and other cross functional teams

CS degree, or equivalent is ideal but not required. We appreciate and acknowledge that some of the best talent comes from non-traditional backgrounds

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code solutions (i.e. AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.)

Preferred

Experience programming in high-level languages such as Python
