Commercial Division Account Manager

Responsibilities
Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop and execute a go-to-market plan for commercial sector entry
Ability to identify, connect with, and convert key decision-makers at general contractors, developers, and commercial builders
Strong sales acumen and experience managing the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and proposal development to closing and post-sale support
Proficiency in reading blueprints, specs, and project plans is a plus
Professional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple high-value projects concurrently
Comfortable representing the company at trade shows, industry events, networking functions, and job sites
Collaborates closely with estimating, project management, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and excellent client service
Stays informed about market trends, competitors, and upcoming commercial projects
Maintains detailed records of client interactions, project opportunities, and forecasts through CRM or other internal systems
Represents JR McDade with integrity, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset in all dealings
Participates in ongoing team meetings and contributes to company-wide sales strategies
Qualification
Required
Deep industry knowledge in commercial construction
Established relationships in commercial construction
Strong background in sales and business development

Ability to travel occasionally
