Integrated Water Services (IWS) is revolutionizing water by transforming challenges into sustainable solutions. They are seeking a Senior Water / Wastewater Engineer who will lead the process design for water and wastewater treatment facilities and provide ongoing engineering support.

Responsibilities

Translate customer requirements into functional system designs

Review pre-construction design and documentation

Support the sales team by assisting with technical design, estimating hours, and highlighting logistical challenges

Generate functional system descriptions and diagrams

Provide ongoing engineering support

Perform system calculations from preliminary to final design

Provide markups for plans and lead cost estimates

Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines, subconsultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work

Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope

Assist in proposal development, scopes of work, and fee schedule preparation

Mentor junior staff with technical and professional development

Review and approve final design of projects

Qualification

Water/Wastewater TreatmentProcess DesignWater Quality AnalysisRegulatory ComplianceP&ID CreationCAD SoftwareProfessional Engineer LicenseMS Office ProficiencyConstruction Knowledge

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, environmental or other related field)

8+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment industry

5+ years in water quality analysis, treatment evaluations, process design, and regulatory compliance assessments

Strong knowledge and understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies

Ability to read and understand civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings

Ability to create process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

Proficient with MS Office products and other standard software packages

Proficient with CAD and other design software platforms

Preferred

Master's degree

Licensed Professional Engineer

Experience with general construction, utilities, and/or water and wastewater treatment plants
