1+ years expTalented Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel CT Scan Tech for a 13-week assignment. The role involves providing timely diagnostic services, performing basic CT procedures, and ensuring the proper administration of IV contrast under the direction of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities
Perform basic CT procedures; perform venipuncture for injections, operate power injector and administer IV contrast as ordered by physician; performance of 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation
Types of services: CT scans for outpatient, inpatient, and ER studies
Responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
Performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
Demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures
Knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy
Qualification
Required
1+ year recent travel experience required
At least 1.5 years of CT Scan Tech experience required
ARRT, CT certification required
BLS, CPR required
Must be able to Perform basic CT procedures; perform venipuncture for injections, operate power injector and administer IV contrast as ordered by physician; performance of 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation
The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer
Responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
