Responsibilities

Design APIs for front end web UI and customer use
Implement full customer-facing webserver backend, including user account security - user sessions, login & authentication
Web app architecture and security
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing codebases to improve performance and maintainability

Required

4+ years minimum experience with Go
Experience building high-traffic web services in Go
Experience writing unit tests
Knowledge and understanding of distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud-based systems
Knowledge and understanding of microservice architecture and patterns
Experience designing and implementing RESTish APIs
Experience working with containers and CDNs
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to sharing knowledge and ideas
Experience with user login and authentication using providers such as Auth0, Cognito

Preferred

Experience with a variety of AWS services, IAM and AWS Org security models is a plus
Experience with batch job control - async job status
C++, Python, or Terraform are a plus
Vue or React are a plus
Knowledge of CDN (Content Delivery Network) architectures and streaming workflows
Unity or Unreal is a plus
