Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for the Power Delivery engineering team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Develop and implement processes to enhance team performance, project efficiency, and client satisfaction
Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and identifying opportunities for business growth
Lead the design of electric transmission and substation projects, overseeing layouts, routing, and electrical design for voltages ranging from LV to EHV
Manage project scoping, cost estimating, and proposal development
Mentor the engineering team to drive technical growth and innovation
Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution, meeting budget, schedule, and quality requirements
Review engineering deliverables to ensure they meet industry and client standards
Represent Pond at client meetings, job sites, and industry conferences
Support multiple concurrent projects while fostering collaboration and team efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, Electrical or equivalent
15+ Years of experience in related transmission and substation design services
Experience managing/leading technical teams and providing guidance and mentorship
Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards and design software
Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
Preferred
Master's Degree encouraged
Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred
