Landscape Support Units and Administrative Manager
The University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science is seeking a Landscape Support Units and Administrative Manager to oversee the daily administrative activities of the Landscape Services unit. This role includes responsibilities such as budgeting, HR, payroll, procurement, and managing contractual services.

Manage the day-to-day administrative activities of the Landscape Services unit
Budgeting, HR, Payroll, procurement, and managing contractual services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Must have and maintain a valid Maryland Class C license (or equivalent) with fewer than six points
Knowledge of the University's policies and operating procedures
Ten (10) years' experience in the supervision and management of large landscape maintenance operations and/or experience in Landscape Design, Project Management, Operation Management
Ability to manipulate heavy equipment, tools, and supplies and/or exert force up to 50 lbs.; to concurrently manipulate multiple controls on machinery and equipment; to work in hazardous or irritating environments, and adverse weather and temperature conditions; to wear and work in personal protective equipment
Preferred
Experience in a unionized environment desired
Ability to read construction documents
Project management of exterior hardscape installations, landscape design or construction experience
Bachelor's degree in landscape management, landscape design, Construction/Project Management, Business Management or related field
