They are seeking an experienced Senior US Tax Manager to oversee all US tax matters, including tax reporting, compliance, and advisory, while working closely with the finance and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

Tax Reporting – management of the Group’s quarterly US GAAP tax reporting process

Tax Compliance & Audits – co-ordination of tax compliance for all US taxes and management of tax audits, ensuring we are compliant across all taxes in the US

Tax Advisory – supporting the business in all tax matters including new products/new states

Tax Processes – leading the charge on improving processes to support the US compliance and reporting processes, including automation where possible to support the growing business which is set to scale

Tax Projects – support the Head of Tax with strategic tax projects, including M&A

Required

CPA qualified, with a minimum of 6 years post qualification experience in reporting, compliance and advisory

Strong technical knowledge – US tax technical, US GAAP and international rules including GILTI, BEAT and subpart F

Practical experience in consolidated tax provisions and managing tax compliance across all US taxes (including Sales Tax)

Self starter who can effectively operate both independently with a minimum level of supervision and within a team environment

Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills with an ability to communicate tax issues to non-tax audiences and a desire to build relationships cross functionally

Advanced proficiency in excel and experience with tax technology solutions
