Social Media Manager (with Graphic Design Expertise)

Responsibilities
Own day-to-day social execution across assigned brand accounts, including posting, community management, and performance tracking
Develop and manage monthly content calendars, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and seasonal moments
Write on-brand, engaging captions that balance voice and performance
Collaborate with influencers, paid media, and content teams to ensure all content integrates seamlessly
Stay on top of platform best practices, content trends, and performance insights to inform content pivots
Create visually compelling, brand-aligned static graphics, reels covers, story templates, and other assets for Instagram and TikTok
Create social calendars for your clients' monthly needs
Maintain and evolve brand aesthetic across channels through consistent and thoughtful design application
Act as a reliable client-facing contact for day-to-day approvals, feedback, and calendar management
Support the Director in pulling performance insights, building presentations, and prepping for strategy reviews
Track deliverables and deadlines across all brand content to ensure timely execution
Work closely with our creative team, influencer team, and paid media team to bring campaigns to life across platforms
Proactively suggest ideas for content experiments, new formats, and ways to streamline workflow
Explore and implement AI tools (like Canva AI, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency and quality
Qualification
Required
1+ year of experience managing social for brands (agency or in-house); bonus if you've worked across multiple clients
Strong grasp of platform nuances and performance content formats across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
Proficiency in graphic design — Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools
Working knowledge of lo-fi video editing tools (CapCut, InShot, etc.)
A sharp eye for aesthetics and a strong sense of storytelling through both design and copy
Organized, proactive, and communicative — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Excited by new tools and technologies; comfortable exploring AI to make your workflow smarter
Comfortable being client-facing, managing approvals, and communicating updates with professionalism
Preferred
Have experience in beauty, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle brands
Are familiar with AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva AI, Notion AI
Are passionate about bringing brand stories to life in a visually compelling and thumb-stopping way
Love finding creative ways to make social content perform and look good
