Responsibilities
Manage hazardous conditions and collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with OSHA and ARCO Safety policies
Continuously assess and manage the safety compliance of multiple subcontractor operations
Clarify safety rules, coach best practices, and actively promote a safety-first culture in site meetings and during operations
Lead safety incident investigations, conduct daily orientations, and perform additional duties as required
Conduct formal incident investigations, root cause analysis, and assist in the development of corrective actions for any onsite incidents
Stay updated on safety regulations, site-specific policies, and collaborate with the project team to address safety hazards
Integrate safety into project planning
Proactively solve problems and work closely with project team members at multiple levels to ensure compliance and best practices throughout the construction process
Qualification
Required
Prior Construction Experience is required
BS in Occupational Health and Safety or a closely related field
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
Preferred
5-10 years of Safety and Health Experience preferred
GSP/ASP/CSP/CHST or similar certification(s) preferred
OSHA 500/510 certification a plus
