Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Senior Engineer, develop nuclear plant modification packages
Perform electrical calculations in support of the modification packages
Provide field installation support to the client’s implementation team
Understands the electrical task’s scope and requirements

Required

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
Must be a Citizen of the U.S. and able to obtain unescorted access to a U.S. nuclear power plant
The ability to prepare documents and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Three (3) years of related electrical design experience with nuclear plant engineering and design
Takes ownership of engineering work performed on a project
Experience working with others in a Project Team environment
Good written and oral communications skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Engineer In Training (EIT) License is Preferred
Current or recent design qualifications to the Standard Design Procedure at a commercial nuclear power plant
Demonstrated knowledge of switchyard design, protective relaying, transformers, circuit breakers and switches
Demonstrated knowledge of IEEE, ISA, and NEMA standards
Field experience is a plus, along with the ability to perform site walk-downs
