Prime Communications is AT&T's largest privately held authorized retailer, with nearly 2,000 retail stores coast-to-coast. We are seeking a Manager of Financial Operations to lead initiatives that enhance financial efficiency and operational excellence across our retail channel. This role will oversee payroll management, workforce planning, and operational expense optimization to ensure sustainable profitability.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic oversight in Payroll Management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance while addressing overtime and cost-control opportunities

Drive Workforce Management initiatives, optimizing scheduling practices, labor allocation, and staffing strategies to maximize productivity and control labor-related expenses

Oversee and analyze operational expenses across markets, with a focus on overtime management, time & attendance accuracy, and operational discipline (e.g., store opening/closing compliance)

Partner with District Managers, Market Directors, and VPs to align operational initiatives with financial objectives, ensuring accountability across field leadership

Lead Performance Management analytics, identifying key trends in employee performance and attrition, and implement solutions to improve retention and engagement

Conduct P&L and KPI analysis to identify cost drivers, operational inefficiencies, and revenue opportunities, and communicate findings with clear recommendations to senior leadership

Establish and enforce operational best practices, ensuring stores meet expectations of operational excellence and financial discipline

Lead efforts to streamline and automate reporting, leveraging advanced Excel and analytics to reduce manual effort and improve decision-making

Mentor and develop team members, fostering an environment of accountability, growth, and cross-functional collaboration

Perform ad hoc strategic analysis and lead special projects to support companywide financial and operational objectives

Required

5+ years of experience in financial/operational analysis, with at least 2–3 years in a management or senior analyst role

Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance, or related field)

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving cost savings and efficiency improvements

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Expertise in Payroll, Workforce Management, and P&L analysis, with deep understanding of how operational practices impact profitability

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros; skilled in building reporting dashboards and process automation
