Responsibilities

Directs and supervises a team of architects and engineers in the completion of assigned projects

Coordinates all architectural documentation with outside consultants and other engineering disciplines (internal or external)

Responsible for the quality and competence of the documents produced under his/her direction

Performs or supervises construction administrative duties, shop drawing review, on site reviews, field reports, RFI responses, etc. and sees that these files are properly organized

Manage and mentor a growing team, fostering collaboration across disciplines

Develop and maintain client relationships while leveraging your network to generate new business opportunities

Coordinate and collaborate with leadership located in Chicago, IL, to contribute to strategic growth of the office

Required

Master's degree in architecture or 5 Year BA in Architecture Degree

Minimum 15 years project experience

Architectural license

Knowledgeable in Revit and Microsoft Office programs

Strong knowledge base of architectural and engineering systems, products, building materials, and specifications

Solid understanding of architectural design development, construction documents, codes, standards, and other disciplines

Preferred

Experience and knowledge of building and zoning codes and the permitting process preferred

Industrial architectural experience a plus

Knowledge of North Carolina State and IBC building and zoning codes and the permitting process
