Responsibilities

Design, devlop, and maintain software, that verifies the reliability of the platform on all surfaces the platform runs on Browser+Electron (TS+React); Desktop (Go+Rust); Embedded (Go+Rust)
Set the ground work for all aspects of Automated QA testing, including writing initial integration tests and mentoring other engineers who are writing tests
Develop processes that facilitate and ideally automate all aspects of the QA process, including (someday) writing tests
Ensure every customer's Iris experience is reliable and dependable in any setting, and for any production budget
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field, including having an opinion on the place of LLMs and AI agents in the QA testing process and continuously updating this opinion as the area evolves

Required

Proven experience as a seasoned Software Engineer
Experience with Automated QA in both Web Browsers and Robotics
Strong proficiency in JS/TS; Go; and Rust (or a willingness to learn Rust)
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in a remote team
Passion for innovation and the ability to take ownership of complex projects

You are proactive in staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field
You have a diverse range of interests and can bring a unique perspective to problem-solving and innovation
