Rittal LLC is a manufacturing company looking for a Team Leader for their 3rd shift. The role involves ensuring that labor and materials are present to meet production schedules, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in assembly operations.

Responsibilities

Ensure labor and materials are present to meet schedule attainment

Ensure a quality product is assembled and packaged according to customer specifications and standards

Meet/exceed all targets for Quality, Productivity, Uptime, On-Time Delivery and Cost

Must be able to perform work content at every station per work instruction and to takt time

Maintain a clean, orderly work environment following 5S principles

Oversee cross training of assembly line workers; keep training matrix up-to-date

Track daily attendance & complete time sheets

Drive continuous improvement to achieve a World Class manufacturing environment through implementation of Rittal Production System (RPS)

Interface with quality, engineering, buyer/planner to help resolve any production issues

Interface with internal suppliers (i.e. paint, fab) to resolve production issues

Actively participate in improving assembly operations; develop new ideas or methods to improve efficiency

Actively engage with peers, supervisors and management in creation of a positive workplace culture

Required

Must have prior assembly knowledge

Must be familiar with basic 5S concepts

Must have the ability to work effectively under pressure and have a high level of initiative – must be able to work with minimal oversight

Must also have excellent communication skills - ability to work well with all levels of employees, demonstrated attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem solving skills
