CLINICAL TRIALS SCREENING COORDINATOR I
Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Trials Screening Coordinator I to join their innovative team in the fight against cancer. This role involves interacting with patients, enrolling them in clinical trials, and ensuring the trials proceed safely and smoothly. The Clinical Trials Screening Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for physicians and clinical teams to facilitate patient enrollment in clinical trials.

Responsibilities
Interact directly with patients, enroll, educate and guide them through the experiences of taking part in clinical trials
Ensure the trial is moving forward safely, smoothly, and according to plan
Support a specific Disease Site Program as a single point of contact for physicians and clinical team members
Aid in the timely identification of patients for consideration for clinical trial enrollment
Perform an integrated approach to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies for directing potential patients to a trial program
Refer physicians, patients, and caregivers to guide, review eligibility and provide access to available clinical trials
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in science, health-related field or related project management
2 years' experience in clinical trials (patient-facing coordination, data management, regulatory or other research coordination)
Effective communication, good decision-making, eagerness to embrace challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm, and time management skills
Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with those from diverse backgrounds and experiences
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in clinical research or ability to successfully learn this
Experience interacting with patients and coordinating care with medical staff
Gain a solid learning and understanding of regulatory guidelines and following a clinical trial protocol
Preferred
Prior experience in clinical trials is preferred
