This senior-level position involves overseeing operations within a well-established environmental laboratory network, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards while leading a team of scientists and technicians.

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a professional laboratory team, fostering collaboration and growth
Oversee daily laboratory operations, scheduling, and production output
Ensure rigorous QA/QC compliance, including document control, corrective actions, SOP reviews, and audit responses
Manage equipment maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and consumable inventory
Oversee service verification, invoice accuracy, and reconciliation
Coordinate subcontracted work to meet turnaround times
Serve as the point of contact for clients and participate in professional association events
Facilitate effective communication across the laboratory network
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
Minimum 3+ years of project management experience; commercial laboratory experience required
Strong knowledge of laboratory process management, quality controls, and LIMS systems
Proficiency in MS Office; excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Familiarity with AIHA and/or ELAP audit requirements preferred
