Regional Sales Director - California
Carlson Software is seeking a motivated and independent technical/sales professional with a background in Surveying, Civil Engineering, EIT, SIT, or CAD Design. The role involves managing a network of dealers, direct sales, and support for users, along with organizing workshops and regional events.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the sales of the entire land development product line including instrumentation and software
Managing our growing network of dealers in this region
Direct sales and support for current users
Workshops and other training events
Attending regional events
Coordination with the Carlson marketing team
Serving as Carlson’s feet-on-the-ground resource for the region
Qualification
Required
5+ years of CAD software experience
Background as a Surveyor, Civil Engineer, EIT, SIT or CAD Designer
Experience with both office or fieldwork
Ability to travel regularly (California)
Ability to work on diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Must speak fluent English
Civil engineering: 2 years (Required)
Land surveying: 2 years (Required)
Willingness to travel: 75% (Required)
Preferred
Knowledge of Carlson Software's software and hardware products
Experience with technical support of hardware and software
Experience developing sales network
Strong communication, presentation, and demonstration skills
Experience in training and instruction
