Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain software systems and applications that support hardware engineering, manufacturing, and operational workflows
Build data warehouse infrastructure and pipelines that will be used to drive decision making across teams
Design and implement AI agent workflows to automate internal processes
Integrate with key hardware design, manufacturing and procurement systems such as Altium, Arena, and NetSuite to enable seamless data flow and process alignment
Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate manual steps and increase velocity across engineering and business operations
Build intuitive, performant user interfaces that provide insights into workflow progress, efficiency metrics, and historical trends
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine workflows, and propose scalable software solutions
Own features through the full development lifecycle — from concept and architecture through implementation, test, and deployment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical background
5+ years of software development experience, preferably in environments supporting physical product development
Proficiency with Python or similar high-level object-oriented programming languages
Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and REST/GraphQL API integrations
Experience deploying backend services to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.)
Background in building data pipelines and working with performant warehouses/data lakes (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks)
U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required
Preferred
Familiarity with manufacturing, logistics, and hardware design tools (Altium, Arena, Netsuite, First Resonance, Manufacturo, …)
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
