Responsibilities

Lead and manage roadway design projects from concept through final design and construction documentation
Utilize OpenRoads Designer for geometric design, corridor modeling, and plan production
Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, and design drawings
Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met
Conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., AASHTO, DOT)
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Support proposal development and contribute to project scoping and budgeting

Qualification

OpenRoads DesignerProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseTransportation design experienceRoadway design standardsMicroStationAutoCAD Civil 3DCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsLeadership skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
6+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on transportation and roadway design
Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer is required
Strong understanding of roadway design standards and practices
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other design software is a plus
