Responsibilities

Leverage mechanical and electrical expertise in building Huminly’s first commercial-scale process for polyester-cotton textile recycling
Work closely with the process engineering team to scale the bench-scale process to commercial readiness
Design and fabricate new mechanical components, source and combine off-the-shelf equipment, automate mechanical processes, and streamline module integration to expand the recycling process to 100+-ton scale

Required

Have a demonstrated track record of fabrication projects, whether independently or as part of a startup team
Excel at rapid prototyping, leveraging efficient computer-aided design and fabrication techniques
Are fluent in electrical design including Arduino, PLC, and UI interfaces
Have strong practical knowledge of solids handling, heat transfer, and design and fabrication of large-scale solids processing equipment
Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and/or equivalent experience
Ability to lift, carry, push, and assemble heavy objects
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stand, reach above shoulder level, and move on hard surfaces for extended periods
