7+ years expGBA Builders is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to support construction management, particularly in Pharma and Biotech facilities. The role involves overseeing project coordination, ensuring safety, quality control, and managing subcontractors while maintaining effective communication with clients and design teams.

Responsibilities
Provide coordination and supervision of Pharma / Biotech renovations and building additions with large amounts of process piping, clean utilities, mechanical upgrades, and automation
Collaboration with clients, design teams and subcontractors for project success
Build/maintain jobsite culture of “Safety First”
Quality Control/Quality Assurance
Daily coordination and management of subcontractors and jobsite logistics
Collect, review and submit shop drawings, product data, test reports, etc
Build/update construction schedule and ‘look ahead’ schedules
Review estimates with operations team to ensure logistical/site considerations are included
Review project budgets with project management weekly /monthly
Complete daily/weekly reports and maintain photo journal of progress
Qualification
Required
Degree in construction management or experience in the trades
A minimum of 7 years' experience in construction management/supervision
Good working knowledge of mechanical systems and process piping
Partnership approach to working with contractors, designers and clients
MS Office Suite knowledge and strong computer skills
Proficient with scheduling software
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team
Self-motivation with good time management skills
Preferred
Experience in the construction of Pharma / Biotech facilities
Background heavy in mechanical/piping
