TECHNICAL WRITER

Responsibilities

Create, design, and publish instruction manuals for nonstandard systems using desktop publishing tools
Ensure all documentation meets relevant legislation, industry standards, and customer requirements
Generate or scan technical illustrations for inclusion in manuals
Review incoming orders to assess documentation needs and plan accordingly
Coordinate with Production and Operations to deliver documentation in a timely manner
Monitor availability of clerical resources for manual assembly
Maintain organized records of all published manuals, including secure backup copies
Recommend hardware and software upgrades to improve documentation efficiency
Review and update existing manual specifications for accuracy and completeness
Produce and maintain internal company forms in accordance with ISO requirements

Qualification

Microsoft Office proficiencyTechnical documentation writingAutoCAD softwareReading electrical schematicsGMP regulations familiarityBachelor’s degree in EngineeringPharmacy degreeChemistry degree

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, or Chemistry, or 10+ years of equivalent experience in technical manual creation for industrial equipment
Proven experience in writing technical documentation such as instruction manuals, technical specifications, and project-based technical proposals
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

Preferred

Experience using AutoCAD software
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics or P&IDs
Familiarity with GMP and pharmaceutical regulations
