Business Development Manager, Credit Origination
Nenni and Associates is a fast-paced, innovative market leader focusing on sustainability and efficiency in the carbon markets. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead credit origination efforts by engaging and securing agreements with key customers in the food supply chain.

Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new credit and incentive origination opportunities within target markets, including food manufacturers, cold storage facilities, and national grocery retailers
Develop and execute strategic lead generation initiatives to build a robust pipeline of potential clients
Cultivate strong relationships cross functionally within a B2B environment with C-suite executives, sustainability teams, as well as facilities / maintenance all while understanding their needs and positioning our client's solutions effectively
Drive the sales process from initial contact through to signed agreements, ensuring a smooth handoff to our client’s operations team
Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to identify opportunities for expansion and ensure long-term satisfaction
Accurately track and manage all sales activities, pipeline, and customer data within the CRM system
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the food supply chain, refrigeration, and energy sectors
Work seamlessly across internal teams, including operations, product, and finance, to ensure a cohesive customer experience
Attend industry conferences and client meetings as required to drive business development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Credit Origination role, preferably within a B2B environment
Familiarity with GHG accounting, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions
Proficiency with CRM software
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with C-suite customers
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fully remote environment
Years of experience 7+
Preferred
Existing contacts and a proven network within food manufacturers, cold storage companies, or national grocery retailers
