InternEnvironmental Career Center is seeking interns for Spring/Summer 2024 to introduce career-oriented students to opportunities in landscape maintenance, installation, hardscape, and design. Interns will gain hands-on experience working on commercial and residential properties under the mentorship of a manager.

Enhance the appearance and value of properties through the cultivation of shrubs and trees
Plant, spray, weed, fertilize, and water plants, shrubs, and trees
Perform proper pruning to prevent girdling roots and promote a central leader on trees
Transplant seedlings, cuttings, trees, and shrubs
Maintain and repair irrigation and climate control systems
Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment
Qualification
Required
Studying Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Forestry or related discipline in a 2 or 4 year program
Driver's license required
Commercial driver's license highly valuable
Preferred
Pesticide/applicators License preferred
