Maintenance Tech

Real Estate

Responsibilities

Open and Close the community building for business
Ensure all supplies are filled throughout the day, tissue, gym towels, etc
Wipe down and straighten all outside furniture
Empty all trash receptacles
Scrub pool decks for food, mildew, etc
Check barbeque grills for cleanliness and check propane tanks for safety and ensure they are filled
Check lock on all gates
Check all pool (leaf net, brush) and safety (life-ring, shepherd’s crook) equipment to ensure they are always in good repair
Check exterior lighting to ensure everything is working and replace all necessary bulbs
Check all pool equipment and heaters
Daily meeting setups
Other daily tasks as needed
Wash windows
Remove weeds on pool decks and spray
Spray pool decks for ants, spray and remove wasp nests
Pick up trash around the building and in the parking lots
Check landscaping and irrigation for damage
Blow sand and debris from courts
Empty tennis court trashcans
Ensure winds screens are always in a hung position
Verify tennis court and shed locks are functional as well as tennis court brooms and squeegee
Wipe off all benches (tennis, bocce ball and shuffleboard)
Treat ant hills and spray and remove weeds and wasp nests
Check all sports courts and shed for damage and check for clean signage and operational lighting
Flush out day spa steam generators
Clean barbeque grills
Check shower heads and caulking in showers and steam rooms
Gas and check oil in maintenance golf cart
Wash gym towels and cleaning rags
Clean gatehouse and restroom
Change shower curtains and wash dirty ones
Replace air fresheners and batteries
Update gatehouse sign board
Check golf cart batteries
Other projects / tasks as needed

Required

Must be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English
General knowledge of light construction work, i.e. drywall repairs, painting, etc
General knowledge of fire alarm systems, lighting, painting
Organizational skills: Maintenance of workshop areas, inventory and supplies
Preventive maintenance of community's equipment
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
High School Diploma required
