Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging exams following department protocols and ALARA principles
Assess and support patients physically and emotionally before, during, and after imaging procedures
Collaborate with providers and radiology team members to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
Assist with exam preparation, venipuncture (as applicable), and post-procedure instructions
Ensure timely documentation, image quality assurance, and protocol compliance
Monitor and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership
Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe imaging environment

ARRT Certification in RadiologyMontana State Radiologic Technologist LicenseGraduate of accredited programBLS CPR certificationRadiology protocolsComputer skillsCommunication skillsCritical thinking skillsTeam-oriented mindsetOrganizational skills

Required

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
ARRT Certification in Radiology required
Current and valid Montana State license in Radiological Technology required
RQI Responder CPR certificate required
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed

Preferred

Possess knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology preferred
Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office preferred
