Responsibilities
Feeding, watering and rotating animals to new paddocks or pastures
Monitoring the livestock for health reasons
Assisting in other seasonal maintenance including loading animals on trailers for transport to butcher, auction or sale
Monitoring of populations
Effective culling of sick animals
Establishing forage food plots for grazing
Cleaning meat processing facilities
Tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating
Trap and destroy pests
Use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools
Qualification
Required
Must have at least 3 months previous work experience within the last 2 years
Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record
Must pass a drug screen
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs on a continued basis
Will be exposed to extreme temperatures
Will have extensive pushing, or pulling
Will be extensive sitting or walking
There will be frequent stooping or bending over with repetitive movements
Must speak and understand English
